Most people that are outside of the medical field don't really understand what completes a medical uniform scrub. Dickies scrubs are the most popular, and reliable scrubs in the industry. A lot of medical professionals don't want to have to deal with uncomfortable and tight scrubs, or scrubs that aren't durable for the long run. We'll go over a few different tips that are made exclusively for you and how to stay ahead of the medical scrub curve in your hospital or medical office.
Scrubs aren't like any other clothing in your wardrobe, and there has been a growing movement towards being fashionable with your scrubs. Why limit your fashion to your clothing outside of the work environment? Chances are that you spend more time in your scrubs then anything else. Either way though at the end of the day it's crucially important that you are able to wear your scrubs without worrying about whether they'll stand up in the long run. Doctors that are wearing clean and fresh scrubs provide an important reassurance then a doctor who has dirty, or slightly used looking scrubs. That's why a higher end scrub is now necessary in todays day and age. It sets the mood properly and provides a sense of security to your patients. At the end of the day though you really don't want to spend a ton of time. Most doctors don't want to spend a ton of time trying to decide what they will wear. Dickies scrubs are a wonderful answer to this problem, they offer a wide selection of colors but their designs are very simple.
At the end of the day theres a reason why doctors scrubs come in very basic colors and designs, because they are timeless. Dickies medical scrubs do just that, they provide simple colors that allow you to mix and match with ease. Don't worry about patterns, and other types of designs. Some hospitals have begun to disallow certain type of patterns and colors as they have proven to be less reassuring to patients. The main factors that you'll want to look at is comfort and and convenience. Most standard scrubs come with tops, pants, and a jacket. The most popular types of materials used in scrubs is cottons and polyester. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to find a comfortable scrub. The last thing you want is a eight or ten hour shift in a set of uncomfortable scrubs.
Double check your hospitals clothing policy, some allow a generic V nick type of approach while others allow embroidered tops. Pants generally can't be as customized as much as shirts. Generally the come in either elastic or or standard waste sizes with ties.
